Nominations for the “10 Most Influential Hispanics in Canada” program are open until July 31. A panel of past winners, journalists and executives from the Globe & Mail, Toronto Star, Canadian Business, the CBC, FOCAL, Rogers and CityTV will determine this year’s winners. The head panelist, a person of international reputation, will be announced in the fall. The program will take place at the end of November.

Nominations must be no longer than 250 words, and include the name, phone number and email of the nominee and the person making the nomination. The selection criteria include influence on Canadian society, education, achievements, awards, support for the community and volunteer work. Additional documentation may be requested. Nominations must be sent to director@HispanicBusiness.ca by July 31, 2010; nominees must accept the nomination. Past winners cannot be nominated again.
